University President’s Assistant for Media Affairs Reviews Development of Websites Across Several University Centers

Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, Sana’a University Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, reviewed ongoing efforts to develop official websites and social media platforms across several of the university’s scientific centers. The review took place during a series of meetings with center directors and digital media officers.
The visits included the Center for Public Administration (CPA), the Computer Center, the Inclusive Development Research Center (IDRC), and the Migration and Refugees Studies Center (MRSC). The meetings were attended by Prof. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Mahmoudi, Director of CPA; Dr. Abdulwadood Al-Nuzaili, Director of the Computer Center; Dr. Halima Jahaf, Director of IDRC; and Prof. Ahmed Al-Emad, Director of MRSC. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Raidi, the center’s Deputy for Quality Affairs, deputy directors, website and social media administrators, and center secretaries.
During the meetings, Mr. Al-Hababi emphasized the importance of regularly reviewing and professionally updating website content to accurately reflect the activities, programs, and services provided by the centers to both the academic community and the wider public. He stressed the need to enhance social media engagement by publishing content that highlights each center’s mission, objectives, and educational, training, and community services, thereby expanding outreach to broader audiences.
He further noted the pivotal role of official websites as primary platforms relied upon by international ranking bodies in assessing universities. Such rankings are based on verified and accessible information available to viewers and researchers locally and internationally.
Mr. Al-Hababi commended the efforts of website administrators over the past period, noting that Sana’a University’s network of websites now delivers professional and comprehensive media coverage of university activities across its colleges and centers. He highlighted the importance of providing accurate and timely information, presented in an integrated news format and accompanied by English translations.
During the visits, Mr. Al-Hababi also listened to several development proposals submitted by website and social media administrators aimed at enhancing digital performance and improving content quality. He concluded by reaffirming the university’s continued support and guidance to strengthen digital media operations across all centers, in line with its vision of expanding its media and digital presence.
