Sana’a University President Attends Ceremony Awarding Golden Institutional Accreditation Shield to Faculty of Education and Human and Applied Sciences – Khawlan

Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, attended the ceremony marking the presentation of the Golden Institutional Accreditation Shield to the Faculty of Education and Human and Applied Sciences – Khawlan, following the completion of its self-assessment requirements and its attainment of institutional accreditation within the Golden Category granted by the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance (CAQA).

The ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC), Dr. Hasel Nasser Hasel, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Abdulkhaleq Al-Dhubyani, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, in addition to quality vice deans from several faculties, and a number of academic and administrative staff members.

In his remarks, the University Rector congratulated the Faculty’s leadership and its academic and administrative teams on this significant achievement. He commended their efforts in fulfilling institutional accreditation standards, noting that obtaining the Golden Accreditation reflects a high level of commitment to quality standards and academic excellence. He emphasized that this accomplishment embodies the University’s strategic direction toward consolidating a culture of quality and accreditation across its faculties and centers.

He further affirmed that the University will continue to support its faculties in completing institutional and program accreditation requirements, contributing to the development of the educational process, the enhancement of higher education outcomes, and the strengthening of the University’s academic standing at both the national and international levels.

In turn, the Dean of ADQAC stated that the accreditation represents the outcome of integrated efforts between the Center and the Faculty, reflecting the success of development and continuous improvement plans built on clear standards and precise performance indicators.

The ceremony concluded with the formal presentation of the Golden Accreditation Shield to the Dean of the Faculty, amid praise from attendees for this milestone, which marks an important step toward advancing institutional performance and reinforcing a culture of quality within the University.
