Ms. Jameela Jaber Saleh Al-Jalal was awarded a PhD degree for her dissertation titled: The Mediating Role of E-Services in Supporting Digital Transformation to Activate Educational Tools for Teaching Chemistry Course at the Faculty of Education, Sana’a University, which was submitted to the Department of Science Curricula and Teaching Methods, Faculty of Education – Sana’a University. The dissertation defense was held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The dissertation aimed to:
Examine the relationship between e-services, digital transformation, and educational tools in supporting the teaching of the chemistry course at the Faculty of Education, Sana’a University.
The study yielded several key findings summarized as follows:
(20) statements received availability ratings of moderate importance.
(30) statements received availability ratings of high importance.
No statistically significant differences were found at the (0.05) significance level between the mean scores of the digital transformation and educational tools groups attributable to the e-services variables (visibility, interaction, financial exchange).
In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:
The Faculty of Education should prioritize modern technology-based educational tools.
The Faculty should enhance the impact of e-services on digital transformation and educational tools.
The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and specialists, students, colleagues, and the researcher’s family.
