The Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, reaffirmed the University leadership’s commitment to ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and transparency in students’ mark records and publishing their examination results. He underscored the importance of adhering to the approved timeline for verifying and entering grades into the electronic system, enabling students to access their results promptly and without delay.
These remarks were made during an expanded meeting with Vice Deans for Student Affairs and Heads of Examination Control Units, attended by Prof. Mohammed Shukri, Vice Rector for Student Affairs; Mr. Ahmed Al-Shamiri, Registrar General; and Eng. Zaki Al-Thawr, Director General of Information Systems.
During the meeting, the University Rector emphasized that the accuracy of academic records constitutes both an ethical and administrative responsibility directly linked to students’ rights and academic futures. He noted that any errors in grade recording or delays in releasing results may negatively impact students and disrupt their academic plans.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti called on all faculties to intensify efforts to complete grade entry and conduct thorough reviews prior to electronic approval, while strictly adhering to the established schedule for announcing results. This, he explained, will ensure that results are made available through the Student Services Portal on the University’s official website, allowing students to access their academic records with ease.
He also directed enhanced coordination between examination control units and the General Administration of Information Systems to address any technical challenges and provide the necessary support to ensure the efficient operation of the electronic grading process. This directive aligns with the University’s broader strategy toward digital transformation and the continued development of its academic and administrative services.
This guidance forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to reinforce quality standards, institutional discipline, and the delivery of accurate and reliable student services that reflect professionalism and accountability in academic performance.
