University Rector’s Assistant Inspects University Service Center for Students with Special Needs

Dr. Abdulhafidh Thawabah, the University Rector’s Assistant for Medical Colleges and Hospitals at Sana’a University, conducted an inspection visit to the University Service Center for Students with Special Needs (USCSSN), as part of the University leadership’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational and support services for this category of students and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
During the visit, Dr. Thawabah was briefed by the Center Director, Dr. Ali Abdulmalik, and the Center Secretary, Mr. Hamed Aqlan, on the range of academic and rehabilitation services provided, as well as the mechanisms of academic support available to students. The briefing also highlighted the Center’s academic programs in Special Education at the diploma, master’s, and doctoral levels.
Discussions further addressed key challenges affecting workflow and explored practical solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, expanding the scope of services, and ensuring the continuity of education for students with special needs within a supportive and motivating academic environment.
Dr. Thawabah reaffirmed the University leadership’s commitment to providing full support to the Center, enabling it to fulfill its educational and humanitarian mission and to enhance students’ opportunities to successfully pursue their academic goals.
