Launching 2nd Training Course to Enhance Website Admins Efficiency at Sana’a University

Sana’a – March 2, 2026 (Ramadan 13, 1447 Hijri)
The Faculty of Engineering at Sana’a University hosted today the opening of the second training course for website administrators as part of the university’s plan for the academic year 1447 Hijri / 2025–2026. The course comes within the university’s strategic direction toward improving digital and media performance across its faculties and scientific centers.
During the opening session, Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, affirmed that organizing such training programs reflects the university leadership’s commitment to advancing digital work and enhancing the capacities of those responsible for managing official websites and social media pages. He emphasized that this effort aims to ensure the delivery of professional content that reflects the university’s academic and scientific standing.
He noted that continuous training and capacity building constitute a cornerstone for the success of digital transformation and keeping pace with rapid technological developments. He also highlighted the strong attention given by the University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, to this field and his continuous support for activating websites and social media platforms across faculties and centers, as they represent the university’s official interface with the local and international community and a key tool for strengthening its presence in global rankings.
Mr. Al-Hababi stressed the importance of adhering to professional publishing standards, regularly updating content, and maintaining discipline in performance in order to unify the university’s media identity and strengthen its credibility.
The course will run for three days, at three hours per day, with the participation of twenty trainees who are newly appointed administrators of several recently launched university websites or newly assigned to manage them.
The course is conducted by Eng. Rashad Al-Khaiwani, Technical Director of the University Website, and Mr. Majed Aslan, Graphics Director of the University Website. Participants receive both theoretical and practical training on the fundamentals of website management, professional publishing mechanisms, and technical updates, contributing to improving digital performance across faculties and centers and strengthening the university’s academic presence and reputation.
