Associate Professor, Department of Statistics and Informatics, College of Commerce and Economics, Sana’a University. His main areas of interest include mathematical statistics, probability, and data analysis. He participated in many conferences and workshops. Dr. Ahmed Huraira has published many research papers in many international journals and conferences. He also published two books in partnership with colleagues in the department.

• 2006: PhD. of Statistics (University Putra Malaysia); Topic “Statistical Inference

on the Modified Gumbel Distribution Parameters”.

• 2001: Master of Statistics (Alyarmouk University, Jordon); Topic “Variances of

the estimators using auxiliary information”.

• 1991: Bachelor of Statistics (Sana’a University,Yemen)

Experience:

• Teaching undergraduate students the following curricula :

Statistics, mathematics, mathematical statistics, probabilities, statistical inference estimation theory, hypothesis tests.

• Teaching Postgraduate students:

Probability theory, statistical inference, statistical analysis.

• Co-supervisor for several postgraduate theses in Yemeni universities.
• Examiner for several postgraduate theses in Yemeni universities.
• Participate in many statistical research and consulting field and preparation and description and analysis of the data.
