Special Meeting for Website Managers and Quality Assurance Representatives at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center

Following the directives of Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass, Sana’a University Rector, a special meeting was held today at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC). The meeting brought together website managers and quality assurance representatives from the University’s various faculties and centers. The aim was to enhance coordination and cooperation to ensure consistency between information published on the University’s websites and the officially approved programs and documents of each faculty and center.
Prof. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of ADQAC, chaired the meeting and stressed the importance of updating the websites of the faculties and the scientific and research centers with the latest information on graduate programs and study plans approved by the University Council. This should be done in coordination with the quality assurance representatives of each faculty and center.
Prof. Al-Emad also highlighted the importance of uploading the CVs of faculty members and their assistants to the websites of the faculties and centers, including their academic data and linking their published research on Google Scholar to their CVs.
Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Advisor for Media Affairs, highlighted the necessity of teamwork and swift implementation of the agreed-upon actions. He stressed the vital role of faculty and center websites in conveying a comprehensive picture of the University’s capabilities to both the local community and international ranking bodies. Al-Hababi pointed out that Sana’a University, like other universities worldwide, is currently undergoing evaluation and ranking by multiple international agencies. He emphasized the collective responsibility to highlight Sana’a University’s strengths and achievements on the global stage.
During the meeting, deputy deans for quality affairs as well as website managers from various faculties and centers discussed a number of topics and ideas aimed at implementing the agreed-upon actions.
