Public PhD Viva-Voice Examination of Ms. Sabah Alfaqih
The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the PhD Dissertation hereto entitled: ” Governance and its relationship to administrative performance in light of empowerment management in Yemeni community colleges “, submitted by Ms. Sabah Alfaqih Department of Educational Planning and Adminstration, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Saturday, 6/06/1446 Hijri corresponding to 7/12/2024. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at identifying the degree of governance practice and its relationship to the administrative performance in light of empowerment management in Yemeni Public community colleges.
The study concluded that the level of governance implementation in Yemeni community colleges is moderate.
The study recommended that: it is important for the Ministry of Vocational and Technical Education and relevant authorities to prepare a periodic program to monitor and evaluate performance and apply governance in Yemeni community colleges in its dimensions (transparency, accountability, participation, and independence) because of their importance in building trust between workers and the local community, and enhancing administrative empowerment in these colleges because of its benefits in motivating employees and enhancing innovation, creativity and management performance.
The PhD dissertation has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in Education majoring in Educational Planning and Administration.
