Statement Issued by Sana’a University

Sana’a, Wednesday, February 26th, 2025
Out of the University’s concern about the interests of its members and graduates, we reassure our students and graduates from various disciplines that the recent decision of the Minister of Higher Education in the sisterly State of Kuwait does not affect the University’s outputs in any way. Rather, it pertains to Kuwaiti citizens wishing to study at Sana’a University. Furthermore, it does not affect the ability of the University’s graduates to compete in the labor market in the Arab Gulf states. The decision is considered an internal matter for the State of Kuwait and does not affect Sana’a University or its graduates.
We also extend our thanks and appreciation to the sisterly State of Kuwait for the assistance it has provided to Sana’a University over the past years.
At the same time, we express our wonder at the false news fabricated by some local and Arab media outlets regarding this matter, and we call on them all to respect the ethics of the media profession and to convey the truth as it is, without distortion or falsehoods.
