Sana’a University Student Affairs Council Holds 10th Meeting for Academic Year 1446 AH (2024/2025)

The Student Affairs Council at Sana’a University held its 10th regular meeting for the academic year 1446 AH on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 (Shawwal 24, 1446 AH). The meeting was chaired by Prof. Mohammed Ali Shukri, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs.
During the session, the council approved the graduation lists for the following faculties: Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Faculty of Physical Education, Faculty of Education and Applied and Human Sciences – Khawlan, Faculty of Languages, and Faculty of Agriculture. These approvals were based on recommendations submitted by the respective faculty councils and will be forwarded to the University Council for final approval.
Moreover, the Council, which was attended by all council members, addressed several student-related issues, including matters submitted through the representatives of faculties as well as written requests raised by students. After a thorough discussion, the council issued the appropriate decisions on each matter.
The council members first extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti on his recent appointment as the University Rector and on gaining the national leadership’s trust for this appointment. They wished him success in his new role and in continuing to advance the university’s academic and research mission.
The council members also expressed their appreciation for the dedicated efforts and accomplishments of former University Rector Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, acknowledging his contributions to the institution’s development and wishing him continued success.
At the beginning of the session, the council reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
