This study aimed to examine the impact of electronic management on financial performance through corporate governance in Yemeni mobile telecommunications companies. The study population included all mobile phone service providers operating in Yemen.
The findings revealed several key results, most notably: a statistically significant positive effect of electronic management, across its dimensions (human components, physical infrastructure, databases, and reporting), on financial performance, measured by return on equity and return on assets. This relationship is mediated through corporate governance, represented by its core principles: fairness, transparency, and accountability in Yemeni mobile companies.
The study recommends the development and implementation of an effective corporate governance system in the Yemeni context, particularly in mobile telecommunications companies, by leveraging electronic management tools. Achieving sound and equitable financial performance requires not only legal, administrative, and accounting frameworks but also integration with broader economic, social, and organizational dimensions.
The PhD dissertation was examined and recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of PhD in Business Administration.
