Evaluation Committee of Scientific and Research Centers Visits several Centers at Sana’a University and Commends Performance

Sana’a – Tuesday, June 17, 2025 (21 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH)
In line with Sana’a University’s commitment to advancing the academic, administrative, and financial performance of its scientific and research centers, a field visit was conducted on Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025, by an assessment committee appointed by Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of the University.
The committee included:

Prof. Zaid Ali Al-Wareeth, the Rector’s Assistant for Scientific and Research Centers Affairs
Dr. Ahmed Al-Raidi
Mr. Al-Ezzi Al-Khatari
Mr. Taha Al-Mekhlafi
Mr. Abdullah Muthanna
The visit covered the following centers: the Center for Human Rights and Polling, the Center for Legal Studies, the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies, and the Center for Business Administration. During the visit, the committee reviewed operations at each center, examined academic programs, especially postgraduate programs, and conducted administrative and financial evaluations.
The committee was received and welcomed by Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Washali, Director of the Center for Legal Studies, Dr. Ahmed Al-Emad, Director of the Center for Migration and Refugee Studies, Dr. Sinan Al-Marhadhi, Director of the Center for Business Administration, Dr. Sami Al-Sayaghi, Director of the Center for Human Rights and Polling, Dr. Mubarak Al-Farrah, Deputy Director of the Center for Human Rights and Polling, along with several faculty members and administrative staff.
At the end of the visit, the committee commended the efforts of the centers’ leadership and staff, praised the evident improvements in performance across various domains, and encouraged further advancement in research and academic activities. The committee also stressed the need for proactive planning for the upcoming academic year 1447 AH / 2025–2026.
