Sana’a University President Visits the Simulation and Clinical Skills Center at Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences

As part of Sana’a University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and raise the quality of medical education, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the University Rector, conducted a field visit to the Simulation and Clinical Skills Center (SCSC) at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti toured the training units within the center and inspected the advanced equipment designed to simulate real-world clinical environments. These facilities provide students with hands-on medical experience in a safe and interactive setting before they are sent for clinical practice in hospitals.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti expressed his appreciation for the center’s high level of development and praised the efforts to modernize its infrastructure in line with the demands of contemporary medical education.
He also affirmed that the university leadership places significant emphasis on specialized training centers, given their pivotal role in preparing young medical professionals according to the highest academic and professional standards.
For his part, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shahari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, noted that the SCSC represents a qualitative leap in the Faculty’s educational approach. He emphasized that the center plays a key role in training students in medical and clinical procedures, enhancing their competence and improving the quality of healthcare services they will deliver in the future.
This visit comes as part of the university’s broader efforts to implement training programs based on modern technology and to promote interactive learning as a cornerstone of academic excellence. These efforts aim to boost the readiness of the graduates to move forward to the medical labor market with full confidence and capability.
The University Rector was accompanied by Prof. Mohammed Al-Shahari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; Dr. Adel Al-Ghaili, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies; Prof. Mohammed Al-Mahbashi, Head of the ENT Department; and Dr. Mohammed Al-Qaisi, Deputy Director of Al-Kuwait University Hospital.
