Sana’a University Rector Inspects Faculty of Engineering Laboratories, Reviews Academic and Administrative Performance

Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti paid a field visit yesterday to the Faculty of Engineering to assess the readiness of its laboratories for the upcoming academic year and to review the Faculty’s academic and administrative performance.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti inspected the progress of the renovation and maintenance work currently underway in the Biomedical Engineering Department laboratory. He also visited the Materials, Surveying, and Soil Mechanics labs, where he praised the efforts made to maintain the operational efficiency and readiness of the equipment used in the engineering workshops. He instructed the engineers in charge of the laboratories to prioritize student engagement and ensure that the practical and applied components of instruction are delivered with the highest level of care and commitment.
The visit to the laboratories aimed to improve the working environment and prepare the Faculty’s infrastructure in line with modern standards. It also served to assess the preparedness of the laboratories to support student applications of theoretical knowledge starting from the current academic semester.
In addition to inspecting the laboratories, the University Rector toured the administrative and financial offices, where he praised the professionalism and dedication of the staff. He also noted with appreciation the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Faculty’s courtyard, administrative offices, and lecture halls.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Faculty’s deanship and staff. He reaffirmed the University’s ongoing support for development and modernization efforts that enhance the quality of education and promote competitive services for students enrolled at the Faculty.
