Sana’a, September 29, 2025 (7 Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH)
Sana’a University has recently launched a comprehensive campus development initiative, implementing a series of maintenance and improvement works aimed at upgrading its infrastructure and enhancing the overall campus environment.
Among the most notable improvements is the complete paving and lighting of the university’s main road, significantly easing access for students and staff while improving safety throughout the campus. In addition, hundreds of fruit-bearing trees have been planted and green spaces expanded to promote a healthier, more sustainable, and visually appealing environment.
In a statement to the university’s website, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategic plan to renovate campus infrastructure and enhance both educational and environmental services for students and faculty members.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti noted that the university’s leadership is prioritizing the creation of a modern, dynamic academic environment that supports high-quality education, scientific research, and student engagement.
He further explained that this development initiative reflects a wider vision to position Sana’a University as a leading academic institution, combining academic excellence with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability—reinforcing its standing at both the national and international levels.
