Sana’a University President Inspects Dentistry Faculty Projects, Praises Academic and Infrastructure Development Efforts

As part of Sana’a University’s commitment to monitoring academic and infrastructural development plans, the University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, conducted an inspection visit today (Wednesday) to the Faculty of Dentistry. He was received by the Dean, Dr. Rami Abdulrahman Ishaq, the University’s Projects Director-General, Eng. Abdulhakim Shamsan, the Faculty Secretary, Mr. Yahya Al-Sharif, along with a number of academic and administrative staff members.
During the visit, the University Rector reviewed progress on the new scientific hall designated for the Master’s program, which is still under construction. The facility represents a significant addition to the Faculty’s academic infrastructure, providing an advanced space for scientific activities and research events. Prof. Al-Bukhaiti received a detailed briefing on the stages of implementation, technical specifications, and the project’s timeline, and he praised the Faculty’s efforts to upgrade its facilities in line with the requirements of modern medical education and to enhance the quality of the teaching process.
The inspection tour also included several of the Faculty’s facilities, such as laboratories and teaching clinics, where the Rector examined ongoing works and the latest upgrades aimed at improving the practical training environment for students. He further inspected external development works, including the construction of a new parking area to ease congestion and meet the Faculty’s growing needs, in addition to a landscaping project designed to enhance the aesthetic and urban environment of the campus.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reaffirmed the University’s full support for the Faculty of Dentistry’s projects, highlighting its leading role and distinguished academic record. He emphasized the University’s commitment to strengthening academic programs and developing the educational and research environment to ensure improved performance and sustained excellence.
At the conclusion of the tour, the University Rector expressed his satisfaction with the high levels of commitment, discipline, and organization he observed within the Faculty, noting that such efforts reflect a clear vision for institutional development and academic planning and stand as a model for leadership and excellence in higher education.
