Sana’a University President Visits Faculty of Commerce and Economics and CPA, Underscores Need to Enhance Educational, Academic, and Research Quality

Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, conducted a field visit today to the Faculty of Commerce and Economics and the Center of Public Administration (CPA), as part of a series of on-site tours aimed at evaluating the educational process and identifying the operational and academic needs of various university facilities.
Upon his arrival, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti was welcomed by Prof. Hani Al-Moghalles, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, and Dr. Fadhl Al-Mahmoudi, CPA Director, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the most urgent needs of both the faculty and the center, covering academic necessities as well as service-related requirements.
During the visit, which included several classrooms and libraries, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the importance of enhancing the quality of teaching, academic performance, and scientific research. He noted that these pillars fundamentally shape the competitiveness and caliber of university graduates on both local and international levels.
He affirmed that achieving genuine educational quality depends on providing a suitable learning environment, ensuring robust and integrated infrastructure, and upgrading services across faculties and centers. He highlighted that the university is implementing a strategic plan designed to boost academic excellence and advance the capabilities of students and researchers.
He also directed that facilities requiring urgent repairs be addressed immediately and called for enhancements to essential services that help create a supportive and motivating educational environment.
In his discussion, the Rector highlighted that the current phase demands greater efforts to advance academic and research development, promote administrative efficiency, and reinforce coordination between faculties and centers in alignment with the university’s strategic vision and future goals.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reaffirmed the university’s commitment to comprehensive institutional development. He noted that such field visits are part of an ongoing oversight policy aimed at addressing challenges directly and ensuring the continuity of a high-quality educational process.
