University President Inspects Faculty of Dentistry Projects and Directs Accelerating Work and Quality Assurance

Sana’a – Wednesday, December 10, 2025 (Jumada Al-Akhirah 19, 1447 Hijri)*
As part of Sana’a University’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and strengthen the educational environment across its faculties, the University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, conducted a field visit to the Faculty of Dentistry. He was accompanied by Mr. Abdulsalam Al-Mutamayez, the University Rector’s Advisor for Cultural Affairs, and Eng. Abdul Hakim Shamsan, General Director of Projects at the University. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Rami Ishaq, the Faculty Secretary Yahya Al-Sharif, and several academic and administrative staff members.
During the visit, the Rector and his accompanying team inspected progress on several ongoing projects at the faculty, including the construction of designated parking areas for the faculty and the Electronic Testing Center (ETC), the establishment of a new sports field, and the fruit orchard project. They also reviewed the preparation of two new halls designated for scientific seminars, all of which are being implemented under the direct supervision of the University’s Projects Directorate.
Eng. Abdul Hakim Shamsan presented a detailed briefing on completion rates and the efforts underway, noting the rapid pace of implementation and the high standards of work being maintained. He also outlined engineering plans and designs for additional dental clinics, sterilization rooms, and a new faculty library — projects aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and supporting academic and clinical training.
In a meeting with the faculty leadership and several academic and service staff, the Rector received a comprehensive overview of the ongoing development efforts, as well as future plans to align the faculty’s facilities with academic needs and improve both educational and clinical services.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of teamwork and institutional integration as essential pillars for advancing the university and serving society. He emphasized the need for strict adherence to responsibilities and timely completion of all tasks within the specified timelines.
At the end of the visit, the Rector expressed his appreciation for the efforts of those working on university projects, praising their cooperation and discipline — qualities that positively contribute to developing the educational environment and improving services provided to students and the community.
