University President and Deputy Minister of Education Discuss Support for Students’ Research and Innovation Projects

The Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, held a meeting at the University’s Center for Science and Technology, attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Hatem Al-Dois, to discuss the outcomes of students’ research and innovative projects and their role in supporting sustainable development.
The meeting reviewed mechanisms for transforming these projects into practical solutions that contribute to development and open new horizons for the academic environment, which serves as the primary source of qualified and creative human capital.
The University Rector emphasized the importance of empowering students, providing full support for their projects, and creating a stimulating environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.
In turn, the Deputy Minister highlighted the vital role of student outputs in strengthening scientific research and linking academic education with labor market needs and national development priorities.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of future plans to expand the scope of student projects and encourage innovative initiatives that contribute to community development and the national economy.
