Sana’a University Releases 1st Issue of Sana’a University Newspaper with Mumber 50

Sana’a – 28 February 2026 (11 Ramadan 1447 H.)
Sana’a University has released its first issue of Sana’a University Newspaper, numbered (50), marking the continuation of “Resalat Al-Maktabat” following its official renaming in accordance with the University Council’s resolution issued at its eighth meeting of the current academic year 1447 AH.
The publication of this issue is part of the University’s dedicated efforts to modernize its media identity and unify its institutional platforms to reflect the comprehensiveness of its academic and scientific mission, aligning with digital transformation and the growing scope of publishing and documentation.
The renaming of the newspaper constitutes both an organizational and strategic move, reinforcing its role as an official voice representing the University’s faculties, centers, and units. This follows recognition of the significant role that “Resalat Al-Maktabat” previously played in documenting and recording the activities of the Libraries and Information Sector.
Issue (50) holds particular symbolic value, bringing together continuity and renewal. It signals the start of a new media phase under the title “Sana’a University Newspaper,” while preserving the sequential numbering to affirm the publication’s continuity and accumulated professional experience.
In its updated version, the newspaper features news articles, reports, and in-depth coverage of the University’s academic, research, and community service activities. It also incorporates statistics and documented data on its achievements, thereby promoting transparency and reinforcing the University’s reputation as a leading institution in higher education at both national and regional levels.
