In Line with Sana’a University Leadership’s Vision, Meeting Discusses Development of Scientific and Research Centers’ Websites

As part of the strategic vision of Sana’a University leadership to advance digital transformation and develop the University’s digital infrastructure, an expanded meeting was held today with directors of scientific and research centers and website administrators to discuss the implementation of a comprehensive plan for upgrading the websites of the University’s faculties and centers in line with quality assurance standards and the University’s unified digital identity.
The meeting forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to modernize its digital network, enhance the quality of online content, and improve the electronic services delivered through the official websites of its scientific and research centers.
Chaired by Prof. Huda Al-Imad, Dean of the Academic Development & Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC), the meeting was attended by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector’s Assistant for Media Affairs, and Eng. Ghada Al-Asadi, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Transformation. Discussions focused on digital content management, data updating procedures, and the standardization of publishing practices to ensure consistency across the University’s digital platforms while strengthening its academic and research presence online.
Participants emphasized the importance of maintaining regularly updated content, completing the uploading of required materials in accordance with approved technical specifications, and streamlining procedures to eliminate duplication and quicken the transition toward a more efficient and integrated digital environment.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Al-Hababi described the University’s official websites and social media platforms as its primary public interface, underscoring the importance of completing the required updates within the specified timeframe. He urged directors of scientific centers and website administrators to thoroughly review all materials before publication to avoid duplication and unnecessary delays, while ensuring full compliance with the University’s approved technical standards. He also commended the progress achieved in implementing the University’s digital objectives.
In turn, Eng. Ghada Al-Asadi noted that these initiatives are part of a comprehensive institutional strategy to modernize the University’s digital infrastructure and strengthen integration among its various centers in line with digital transformation objectives and institutional quality standards.
Meanwhile, Prof. Huda Al-Imad affirmed that the University remains committed to implementing an integrated vision for developing its websites in accordance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, thereby enhancing the digital presence of its scientific and research centers and reinforcing their academic and research mission.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue coordination meetings over the coming days to finalize the remaining technical and organizational requirements and unify implementation procedures in support of the University’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy.
