Sana’a University Finalizes Restroom Renovation and Maintenance Project Across Several Faculties and Centers During 2025

As part of the 1447 AH academic year (2026–2027) plan, Sana’a University successfully completed a project focused on the renovation and maintenance of restroom facilities in several of its faculties and centers, including the Faculty of Commerce and Economics, the Faculty of Sharia and Law, and the Inclusive Development Research Cennter (IDRC). This comes as part of the ongoing efforts led by the university administration, represented by Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of the University, to enhance infrastructure and rehabilitate service facilities, ultimately ensuring a more conducive learning environment across the campus.
The project covered the maintenance and renovation of 16 restrooms serving students and staff at the aforementioned faculties and IDRC, thereby contributing to the enhancement of public services within the university.
In a statement to Sana’a University’s official website, the General Director of Projects, Eng. Abdulhakim Shamsan, stated that the project was implemented at a total cost of 14,000,000 YER, funded by the university’s own resources. He emphasized that the work was carried out by qualified technicians and contractors under strict and professional engineering supervision, enabling the project to be completed efficiently and within a notably short timeframe.
He further noted that this initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening the university’s infrastructure and fostering a more suitable and supportive campus environment for its members.
