Sana’a University Rector Issues Congratulatory Message on Launch of New Academic Year 1448 AH (2026/2027)

As we commence the new academic year 1448 AH / 2026–2027, I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to the University’s Vice Rectors and their assistants, faculty deans and vice deans, heads of academic departments, directors of research and academic centers and their deputies, faculty and center secretaries, all faculty members and their assistants, as well as the university’s administrative and support staff.
I also extend my warmest greetings to the beating heart of our university and the driving force behind its mission—our dear students, both male and female—who are well-equipped with knowledge, guided by noble values, and committed to academic excellence. I wish all members of the Sana’a University community a successful, productive, and distinguished academic year.
As we welcome a new academic year, we take pride in the academic, scientific, research, and community-service achievements accomplished by our university during the past year. These accomplishments were made possible, first and foremost, through the grace and guidance of Almighty Allah, and then through your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to your responsibilities. Your collective efforts and spirit of teamwork have played a vital role in further strengthening Sana’a University’s standing as a leading institution of higher education and scientific advancement.
This occasion provides an opportunity to call upon all members of the university community to continue working with the same sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment. By making the best use of our capabilities and resources, we can achieve even greater progress in education, scientific research, and community service, in a manner befitting the history and stature of Sana’a University as the oldest and leading university in Yemen and a distinguished beacon of learning, knowledge, and academic excellence.
