Master’s Degree Awarded to Ms. Mona Abdulhafidh Al-Ansi in Business Administration

Ms. Mona Abdulhafidh Mohammed Al-Ansi was awarded a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an average of (Excellent) and a grade of (92%) for her thesis titled: The Role of Dynamic Capabilities in Achieving Strategic Entrepreneurship: A Field Study on Private Universities in the Capital Secretariat – Sana’a, which was submitted to the Faculty of Commerce and Economics – Sana’a University. The MA defense was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed to identify the role of dynamic capabilities in achieving strategic entrepreneurship from the perspective of academic and administrative leaders at private universities in the Capital Secretariat – Sana’a.
The Study yielded a number of key findings summarized as follows:
- The dynamic capabilities variable recorded a high level, with a mean score of 3.55 and a relative weight of 71%.
- Strategic entrepreneurship also achieved a high level, with a mean score of 3.69 and a relative weight of 74%.
- A statistically significant relationship between dynamic capabilities and strategic entrepreneurship was found in private universities in the Capital Secretariat – Sana’a.
Based on the findings, the researcher recommended:
- Strengthening learning processes and enhancing the utilization of new knowledge.
- Promoting technological openness to keep pace with ongoing developments.
- Fostering an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation and creative initiatives.
The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and interested participants, colleagues and the researcher’s family members.
