Sana’a University President Inspects the New X-Ray Unit and Educational Clinics Project at Faculty of Dentistry

The Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, accompanied by the Rector’s Cultural Advisor, Mr. Abdulsalam Al-Mutamayiz, today inspected the new X-ray unit and the educational clinics project currently under construction at the Faculty of Dentistry. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Rami Abdulrahman Ishaq, along with a number of the Faculty’s academic and administrative staff.
The visit comes as part of the University leadership’s ongoing follow-up of development projects aimed at enhancing the educational and training environment and improving the quality of academic and clinical services.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reviewed the advanced technical equipment installed in the new X-ray unit and was briefed on its capabilities in supporting the educational process and practical training, as well as its role in developing the skills of the Faculty’s students and improving the quality of diagnostic services provided within the Faculty.
He also visited the educational clinics project, where he received a briefing on the project’s implementation phases and planned facilities, and on the significant contribution it is expected to make to the development of the educational and clinical infrastructure by providing an integrated training environment that keeps pace with the latest developments in dental education.
The Rector emphasized the importance of continuing to implement development projects that contribute to improving the quality of higher education. He commended the Faculty of Dentistry for its ongoing efforts to modernize its academic and practical facilities in a manner that enhances the quality of its graduates and advances the standard of clinical training provided to students.
Then, Prof. Rami Ishaq explained that the Faculty is moving forward with the implementation of its development plans in accordance with a vision aimed at modernizing its educational and clinical infrastructure and providing an advanced academic environment that meets the requirements of modern dental education and contributes to preparing qualified professionals in the field of dentistry.
