The Electronic Testing Center (ETC) at Sana’a University witnessed a significant turnout today from students applying for admission at medical faculties, as approximately 1,500 male and female candidates participated in a mock exam. The test was conducted in a highly organized setting designed to prepare students for the upcoming official entrance tests.
The mock exam was carried out in accordance with directives issued by Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, reflecting the university leadership’s commitment to acquainting applicants with the ETC and its operational system. This helps ease the students’ anxiety and stress while also taking into consideration their psychological readiness on the day of the official entrance test.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Haddad, General Director of the ETC, stated that the mock exam provided students with practical experience in the use of modern equipment and technologies that will be employed during the competitive entrance test. He explained that this initiative forms part of a broader plan to ensure that the examination process is conducted with efficiency and transparency.
He further noted that the ETC’s administration was keen to offer guidance and support by addressing all student inquiries, thereby boosting their preparedness and confidence ahead of the officially scheduled test. He confirmed that the mock exam proceeded smoothly without any significant difficulties.
This mock exam is considered a key preparatory step for students competing for the General System admission seats in medical faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This initiative is part of the university’s broader efforts to modernize its admission and examination systems through advanced technologies.
