University Council Approves Application and Admission Policy and Ratifies 40 Postgraduate Programs

The Sana’a University Council, in its seventh periodic meeting for the academic year 1446 Hijri, chaired by Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, the University Rector, approved the university’s Application and Admission Policy for the regular, parallel, and self-finance study systems, as well as the academic calendar for the upcoming academic year 1447 Hijri.
The council, held at the university’s headquarters in the capital Sana’a, approved the updating and opening of 40 postgraduate programs at the Master’s and Doctoral levels in the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Faculty of Commerce and Economics, and Faculty of Science.
The council, held today in the presence of the university’s vice-rectors, assistants, and deans of faculties, approved awarding doctoral and master’s degrees to 31 students in several faculties and research centers.
The council also approved the graduation lists issued by the Faculty of Education (Arhab), Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Education (Sana’a), Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Sharia and Law, and Faculty of Science.
Furthermore, the council approved the research tasks matrix submitted by the Science and Technology Center. It also approved holding annual conferences in the faculties to discuss graduation research for students and a general conference for the university to discuss the most important and prominent research works presented in the faculties.
Moreover, the council discussed several topics related to student affairs, postgraduate studies, academic affairs, and center affairs and made appropriate decisions regarding them.
At the beginning of the session, the council reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting and approved them.
