Public MA Viva-Voice Examination of Mr. Abdulmajeed Ahmed Mohammed Alalawi

The Public Viva-Voice Examination for the MA Thesis hereto entitled: ” The degree to which the Ministry of Education leaders in the Republic of Yemen practice administrative responsibilities in light of the Qur’anic culture from the point of view of the Ministry’s General Office employees’, submitted by Mr. Abdulmajeed Ahmed Mohammed Alalawi Department of Educational Planning and Administration, Faculty of Education –Sana’a, was held on Wednesday, 29/07/1446 Hijri corresponding to 29/01/2025. The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed at knowing The degree to which the Ministry of Education leaders in the Republic of Yemen practice administrative responsibilities in light of the Qur’anic culture from the point of view of the Ministry’s General Office employees.
The study concluded a number of results as: The degree to which the leadership of the Ministry of Education practiced administrative responsibilities in light of the Qur’anic culture from the point of view of the of the Ministry’s General Office employees was to a moderate degree, and that the degree of their exercise of the responsibilities of planning, organizing and directing in light of the Qur’anic culture from the point of view of the Ministry’s General Office employees was to a moderate degree. The degree to which the leadership of the Ministry of Education practiced the responsibility of oversight and inspection in light of the Qur’anic culture from the point of view of the Ministry’s General Office employees was low.
The study provided a number of recommendations as: it recommended to the relevant authorities the need to hold training courses for leaders of the Ministry of Education on how to implement administrative responsibilities with a Qur’anic vision, and to hold training courses on how to implement the responsibility of oversight and inspection, to establish transparent and Qur’anic procedures and standards to evaluate the performance required of workers in the ministry, and to find a mechanism to correct errors before they occur. Disseminating good experience to employees and updating performance records daily. The study also recommended setting up a mechanism to encourage and motivate workers to be creative and innovative for administrative development, dealing with employees fairly and objectively, using Qur’anic methods of communication, redesigning the internal regulations of the sectors, departments, and divisions of the Ministry of Education with a Qur’anic vision, setting Qur’anic standards for selecting and appointing workers, and defining relationships and powers to serve the work.
A number of academics, the department head, some researchers, students, interested people, and a number of the candidates’ colleagues and family members attended the viva.
The MA thesis has been examined and is recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of Master Degree majoring in Educational Planning and Administration with an overall grade of 95%.
