Effect of Oral Hygiene Motivational Techniques on
Improvement of Oral Health among a Group of Yemeni Adolescent
Orthodontic Patients: a Randomized Controlled Trial

The study aims at evaluating the effect of verbal and video-visual oral hygiene motivational techniques on improvement of oral health among a group of Yemeni adolescent orthodontic patients.
The study comes out with some results as follows: both verbal and visual methods are positive. Meanwhile, the visual education using videos is more effective than the verbal method in improving oral health by adolescent orthodontic patients followed-up for six months.
The researcher presents a number of recommendations at the end of this Master’s thesis, of which: Enhancing video learning with unified instructions attract people for improving oral hygiene. Yet, it is a call for developing methods and using other new strategies for this regard.
