Cardiac Center Board Approves New Reduced Prices

Sana’a – Sunday, October 12, 2025 (Rabi’ Al-Thani 20, 1447 Hijri)
The Board of Directors of the Cardiac Center at Al-Kuwait University Hospital held its regular meeting, chaired by Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University and Chairman of the Board.
During the meeting—held at the University Presidency in Sana’a—the board discussed the center’s future plans and approved the new reduced prices for all types of catheterization procedures. It also endorsed special privileges for members of the Martyrs, Wounded, and Prisoners’ Families Care Foundation, as well as for faculty and administrative staff of Sana’a University.
The Board stressed the need to launch the center’s official website soon to enhance digital services and communication with beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by the Rector’s Assistant for Centers’ Affairs, Dr. Zaid Al-Wareeth; the Rector’s Assistant for Hospitals’ Affairs, Dr. Abdulhafedh Thawaba; the Center’s Director, Dr. Salah Al-Shouki, and his deputy, Dr. Nader Al-Ameri; and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahari.
The board also approved the following:
1. Formation of a committee to prepare the specification documents for the Echocardiography Diploma and the Cardiac Nursing Diploma, to be submitted to the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance for review before being presented to the relevant councils for official approval.
2. Organization of a specialized scientific conference in cardiology in mid-2026 to promote research and academic exchange in this vital field.
The board also reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
