Sana’a University Rector and Chairman of General Authority for Zakat Discuss Enhanced Cooperation in Education and Public Services

Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, received Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, today to discuss expanding strategic cooperation and integration between the two institutions.
The high-level meeting, attended by Prof Mohammed Al-Shahari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, along with staff from both the Authority and the University, focused on several key areas of mutual interest. Primary topics included supporting the higher education sector, developing the university’s medical and service facilities, and strengthening the institution’s role in the community service.
Discussions also centered on the professional development of national cadres to enhance institutional efficiency and support comprehensive development efforts. Both parties emphasized the importance of unifying efforts between academic institutions and service-oriented authorities to effectively respond to societal needs and build the scientific and professional capacities of the youth.
