Sana’a University Rector Launches Academic Preparatory Programs for Engineering, Computing, Commerce, and Languages Applicants

The Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, officially inaugurated a series of free academic preparatory courses today for students seeking admission to the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, Faculty of Commerce and Economics, and Faculty of Languages. Organized in coordination with the University Student Forum (USF), this initiative is a key component of the university’s strategy to enhance applicant readiness and equip students with the necessary scientific skills to excel in competitive entrance examinations.
During the launch event held at the Martyr Al-Sammad Hall in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized that the university prioritizes student welfare by providing the essential academic support required for a successful transition from secondary school to higher education. He noted that these courses offer concentrated content designed to help students grasp the rigorous academic requirements of these specialized disciplines.
The Rector further explained that this initiative embodies Sana’a University’s leading role in community service and its dedication to ensuring fairness and transparency in the admissions process. By offering these intensive review sessions, the university aims to provide all applicants with equal opportunities for academic achievement before they undergo competitive testing.
Participating students expressed their appreciation for the university leadership’s initiative, noting that the program directly assists in alleviating concerns regarding entrance tests while psychologically and intellectually preparing them to begin their academic journeys.
