Sana’a University Rector Inspects Student Affairs Progress, Directs Simplification of Admission Procedures

As part of the ongoing oversight of administrative and academic performance, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, conducted an inspection visit to the Office of the Vice Rector for Student Affairs today. The visit aimed to review the operational progress within various departments and monitor the ongoing preparations for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year admissions and registration cycle.
Upon his arrival, the Rector was received by Prof. Mohammed Ali Shukri, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Shamiri, the University Registrar, alongside several general directors and administrative staff. During the tour, Prof. Al-Buk
haiti was briefed on the level of readiness for receiving new applications and the organizational mechanisms put in place to ensure a seamless and efficient registration process for prospective students.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized the critical need to simplify administrative procedures for applicants, stressing the importance of creating a student-centered service environment. He further directed the department to enhance communication channels, specifically through digital platforms and social media, to provide timely support and clear responses to student inquiries.
The inspection also included a visit to the Automated Issuance Center for Graduates, where the Rector reviewed the workflow for processing academic degrees and certificates. After discussing the primary operational challenges faced by the center, he issued directives to address these issues immediately, ensuring that graduates receive their official documentation within the established deadlines.
At the conclusion of his visit, the University Rector expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by the staff at the Office of Student Affairs. He commended their commitment to improving service quality and their sense of responsibility in providing organized, efficient assistance that meets the high standards expected by the university’s student body.
