Sana’a University Rector Launches Martyr Yahya Zaabal Summer Centers to Enhance Educational and Moral Values

The Rector of Sana’a University, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, officially inaugurated the Martyr Yahya Zaabal Summer Centers today at Azal Al-Wadi School. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering the educational and developmental growth of students, providing productive opportunities to utilize their time during the summer break.
During the inauguration, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reviewed the diverse programs offered by the centers, which include the recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran, Tajwid lessons, and the enhancement of Arabic language skills. The curriculum also features various educational activities designed to promote critical thinking, instill ethical values, and develop well-rounded student personalities.
The University Rector emphasized the significance of these programs in supporting the broader educational and pedagogical track. He noted their role in developing student skills, strengthening their connection to knowledge, and cultivating values of diligence, discipline, and a passion for learning. These are all essential components for preparing a scientifically and ethically qualified generation.
He further explained that these centers operate under the umbrella of the University Student Forum’s programs. These initiatives aim to provide a stimulating educational environment that helps students discover their talents, develop their capabilities, and foster a spirit of cooperation and positive engagement.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti praised the efforts of the centers’ organizers for their dedication to delivering integrated educational programs that meet students’ needs while simultaneously developing their academic and behavioral competencies.
In turn, the organizers highlighted that the summer programs focus on a holistic approach to student development. By bridging the gap between formal education and character building, the centers provide a safe and supportive environment that empowers students to acquire new skills and play a positive role within their communities.
