Sana’a | Tuesday, April 7, 2026
Prof. Mohammed Shukri, Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Sana’a University, has called upon students holding high school certificates from outside the country to expedite the attestation of their official documents. This directive is a prerequisite for completing the application and admission process for the upcoming academic year 1448 AH (2026/2027).
Prof. Shukri explained that the university is committed to facilitating admission procedures for students arriving from abroad through clear systems and precise standards that ensure transparency and equal opportunity. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the required attestation chain through the relevant authorities, beginning with the Consulate of the Republic of Yemen in the country of issuance, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and its respective consulate. This must be followed by attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a and, finally, the Ministry of Education’s Examination Control Directorate.
The Vice Rector further noted that students must provide a copy of their passport and submit all attested documents to the General Administration for Admission and Registration. This will allow specialized staff to finalize the application procedures in accordance with the university’s governing regulations.
He highlighted that Sana’a University continues to enhance its electronic services to streamline the application process, urging students to register via the Unified Electronic Application Portal at https://oasyemen.net.
In conclusion, Prof. Shukri reaffirmed the university’s dedication to providing a distinguished educational environment, wishing all prospective students success in their academic journeys. He encouraged all applicants to visit the university’s official website at www.su.edu.ye for the latest updates regarding the application and admission process.
